Summary

World of Warcraftrecently showed off just how much content there is in Patch 10.1.7, Fury Incarnate. This update may not be one ofDragonflight’s major ones, but it is still bringing a surprising amount of features toWorld of Warcraft.

DragonflightPatch 10.1.7 is right around the corner. This content update is the final one beforeDragonflightSeason 3 begins in 10.2, and the penultimate patch is currently planned for 2023.

Usually,World of Warcraft’s major seasonal patches and midway updates, like 10.1 and 10.1.5, are its biggest. However, Fury Incarnate looks to be bringing as much content as many of its larger counterparts have, despite being a 1.7 patch. In an official Twitter post,World of Warcraftshared an image laying out what players can look forward to inFury Incarnate when it comes toDragonflighton September 5.

Here are the major things players can expect fromWorld of Warcraft: DragonflightPatch 10.1.7, Fury Incarnate:

Interestingly enough, Fyrakk is prominently featured on the Fury Incarnate imageWorld of Warcraftshared, yet no content found on Patch 10.1.7 has involved him directly so far. That said, theDruids of the Flame fromWorld of Warcraft: Cataclysmare back, and many suspect they are in league with the Primal Incarnate. Considering the patch’s name and theme, it seems likely that Fyrakk will play a role in Patch 10.1.7’s story.

RecentWorld of Warcraftcinematics have set the stage for him and his fellow Primal Incarnate Vyranoth to be major players inDragonflight’s next major update. Both dragons will probably be antagonists in Patch 10.2, though it remains to be seen if they willappear as bosses inWorld of Warcraft’s next raid. Luckily, players won’t have to wait long to find out–with only a couple of weeks until the next update, players anticipate an announcement for the finalWorld of Warcraftcontent update of the year sometime shortly after Fury Incarnate drops, if not in the week before.
