Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly Worldis out in early February, and I feel like we don’t know a whole lot about it other than that it’s a port of the Wii U platformer from 2015. Thankfully there’s this brief overview video to help people out if you’re interested.
If you don’t feel like watching it (I don’t blame you), here’s a quick recap. Mellow Mode, the chill difficulty, returns, but with an extra mechanic that allows you to take some Poochy Pups with you to uncover extra secrets. There’s also “Poochy Dash” stages where you can earn extra beads, and the previously announced Yoshi pattern creation mode and theater mode. Oh, and of course, support for the Poochy amiibo, which is packed-in with certain versions and warps Poochy into any given stage.
I’m not sure if that’s enough for me to double-dip, but it’s there if you want to.
