Banks spawn inbasically every burning,zombie-infested townyou come across on your journey.Every bankinDead Railshas a vaultwith various valuables and some bonds inside of it. To open a vault, you will need either acodeto unlock it ordynamiteto bust through it. You can buy dynamite from somegeneral storeslocated inside forts. Then, just place a dynamite close to a vault door, step away, and shoot it to open up a way inside.

As for thevault code, first, you have to find andkill a zombie wearing a black hat. Pick up the code the zombie drops andgo to a nearby bank. On the vault itself, you will notice a rotating mechanism with anumber on each of its handles. Without anything equipped,hold M1androtate the handlesuntil thefirst numberon the paperaligns withthetop part of the vault. Then, just repeat the same process for other numbers as well.

You canpractice opening vaults while in the main lobbyofDead Railswithout spending any bonds. Just go to the bank in the lobby and spin the vault mechanism to get familiar with it.

Bonds inside the Castle at the 40km Mark

Getting the bonds from inside theDead Railscastle, which spawns next to the fort at the 40km mark of the railway, can be very difficult. When you approach the castle,huge waves of werewolves and vampires will start spawninginside of it and start charging at you. So, prepare well before heading to the castle. Buy either a rifle or a shotgun and stock up with at least 100 ammo for the weapon of your choice.

Thankfully,some enemies will get stuck on the castle entrance, so you can safely gun them down. However, do not go deep into the castle until you’ve cleared up most of the enemies. If you wantto maximize the amount of moneyyou can earn as well, take breaks tosell the werewolf and vampire bodieswhen your bag gets full.

After you kill the last enemy that spawns, you may safely enter the castle andloot it upthoroughly. Among other items, you will findbonds,weapons,ammo,goldandsilverbars, and the unique weapon,Vampire Knife, inside theDead Railscastle.

You canspend bonds while in the mainDead Railslobbyby visiting theGeneral Store,Gunsmith, andDoctor buildings. Each store has basically the same stock as the ones you find in forts at every 10km of your journey. Keep in mind thatyou don’t spawn permanently with the items you buy for bonds. Instead, they stay in your inventory until you die, just like regular items.
