Welcome to the Ubisoft multiverse.
XDefiant is an upcoming free-to-play multiplayer shooter from Ubisoft, which will feature characters from a wide range of different Ubisoft titles. A sort of Ubisoft multiverse, if you will. The studio describes the game as a “fast-paced arena shooter” where players will face off in 6v6 online matches. XDefiant will also utilize factions for class-based gameplay. Currently, the XDefiant closed beta is available.
What are the factions?
So far,Ubisoft confirmedfive unique factions which will each have their own play style. Additionally, the developers promised regular updates with new content coming to the game roughly every three months. Any chance for a future Rayman faction?

What game modes are there?
With over 12 unique maps, XDefiant will have four modes at launch. These modes will be Domination, Occupy, Zone Control, and Escort with more modes to come in the future. XDefiant will also feature ranked gameplay with tweaked rulesets to create a more competitive feel.
When is the closed beta?
XDefiant’s closed beta begins on April 13 and will last until 11 p.m. PT on April 23.
What are the closed beta rewards?
There are twelve rewards that you can receive during the XDefiant closed beta and through Twitch drops.
Is XDefiant available on console?
Currently, the XDefiant closed beta is available for download on current-generation platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XIS, and PC. However, the closed beta also has full crossplay support so you can play with any of your friends on different consoles!
At launch, XDefiant will be available for last-generation consoles as well as current-generation ones.
