Commander Bell is a new villain introduced inThe Handmaid’s Taleseason 6, episode 4, with him being played by Timothy Simons. While at Jezebel’s, Commander Bell seems to take a particular interest in Janine. Throughout his time in the episode, it is clear that he is grosser and more crude than his fellow Commanders, making him especially unlikable.

Outside of Jezebel’s, however, very little is known about Commander Bell. His status within Gilead remains unknown, and his role in society isn’t known either.It is likely that Commander Bell will continue to appear in future episodes ofThe Handmaid’s Taleseason 6, further fleshing out his character.
