Registration for EVO now open too
The EVO charity drive has raised an amazing $225,744 for breast cancer research. Yay! And the game that brought in the most donations tobecome the eight game thatwill be played in the tournament?Super Smash Bros. Meleefor the GameCube. That alone brought in $94,683 for the charity drive. I can’t wait to see how a brawler does at EVO, that’s for sure.
As for EVO itself, passes to the tournamenthave now gone on sale. There’s a Competitor Pass for $50 that will get you in any of the tournaments you want to participate in, and access to the Alpha and Beta Halls. The Premium Pass runs for $40, and that lets you spectate any of the matches. Finally, there’s the Event Pass for $20 that lets you spectate anything on Friday and Saturday, with limited access to the Beta Hall on Sunday. All passes will also net you a exclusive EVO 2013 t-shirt.
