The eight best Rainbow Six (R6) teams reached the playoffs stage at the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025). Four quarterfinal winners can advance to the semifinals.
Spacestation Gaming had a promising start as Defenders on Clubhouse. They won four rounds before the sides swapped. Then, it was the turn of FURIA to enjoy the advantages of defending on this R6 map. The Brazilian team won game 1 with an impressive five-round streak.
On Chalet, the streak for FURIA continued on the Attacker side. When it looked like Spacestation were done, they responded with some really great rounds and even triggered overtime.
FURIA did not let the opponents achieve more. They won two decisive rounds and placed themselves as the 3rd team at the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2025.
The Esports World Cup has other shooting games tournaments in its final two weeks. You can follow PUBG Battlegrounds from Aug. 12 to Aug. 16, and Counter-Strike 2 from Aug. 20 to Aug. 24.
