Some Arcane icons were leaked on PBE. We can see some interesting details about important characters that maybe were too soon to know about.
League of Legends' new icons were leaked, “by accident”, in the Public Beta Environment (PBE). The three new icons contain important information about Arcane season 2, which will launch on Netflix on November 9. You shouldn’t be here if you don’t want to know what they are about.
SinceRiot Gamesimmediately removed them from the PBE, we can assume this information wasn’t supposed to be pitched yet. Or this “accident” is a marketing strategy to hype the fans even more. We will never really know.
The userSkinSpotlights, a data miner known for advancing new skins on League of Legends, shared on X the new icons leaked on PBE to theTFT Macao Open, the 2nd annual TFT event happening in Macao, China.From now on, it’s your responsibility to see the spoilers!
Leaked icons about Arcane
The following icons are about three important characters on Arcane: Mel Medarda, Viktor, and Warwick. Besides them, we also see an Irelia Chibi. She’s not part of Arcane, but she was also removed from the “clean” version Riot reuploaded a few hours later.
OnReddit, fans believe this Warwick icon is related to his mid-transformation, where he’s not fully transformed into the monster we see in the trailer, and neither is the human version. They also don’t believe this is related to a rework, but only an icon to add lore information.

Fans are not all excitedabout this. Many think it looks like Jhin because of the mask, others think Viktor is lacking some facial elements such as eyes and mouth. Some people also commented on Reddit that the icon might be elusive to an Arcane season 2 skin, not specifically the Viktor “default” icon in-game.
Mel Medarda as a playable champion
The last leaked icon was Mel Medarda. If you are not aware, Mel is not a playable character in League of Legends yet. Because of that, it’s weird that Riot will launch an icon of her. However, this is not weird at all when we find out she is going to be playable in 2025.

In October, theLeagueOfLeaksaccount revealed that Mel will be the first new champion in 2025. She is set to be a mage who has abilities that “might be inspired by the existing abilities used as placeholders in her HUD”. She’s coming after her mother, Ambessa Medarda, comes out as aplayable champion in League of Legendsat the end of this year.
