Nintendo hopes to share before long
What’sMetroid PrimeandDonkey Kong Country Returnsdeveloper Retro Studios up to these days? That’s the burning question. Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime knows, butwon’t tell. More recently, Nintendo supervisor Hiro Yamada had an interview withOfficial Nintendo MagazineaboutDKCR 3Dand talk of Retro’s other work came up. Of course it did!
The aforementioned 3DS title is currently in development at Monster Games, which prompted the question — if not that, then what is eating up Retro’s time? “I wonder what kind of game it is? I hope to introduce it to you in the not so distant future,” said Yamada.

The expectation is that Nintendo will have much to share regarding the Wii U at E3, now that we know what’sin the pipeline for the 3DS. One can only hope. Much as I want this to be anotherMetroidgame, I’d almost rather Retro get involved with a different Nintendo property instead.
