AtSan Diego Comic-Con, the first trailer forSilent Night, Deadly Nightwas revealed. The movie is based on a classic 1984 festive B-horror film about a young boy who witnesses his parents being murdered by Santa one night. But when Billy grows up, he puts on the Santa suit himself as he seeks revenge for those who have wronged him in his childhood.
The 2025 reboot film takes on a similar plot, but this time it is directed by Mike P. Nelson. Themain character is played by Rohan Campbell, with a supporting cast that includes Ruby Modine, David Tomlinson, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and Erik Athavale. It isset for release on June 15, 2025.
At SDCC,IGNrevealed the first teaser trailer forSilent Night, Deadly Night. As Billy puts on the Santa suit, a deep-voiced narrator says, “In 1984, one film shocked audiences, was banned from theaters, and traumatized a generation” as one of Billy’s kills is revealed.
