As part of Summer Game Fest 2023, Pocketpair has shown off more ofPalworld, a “multi-player, open world, survival, crafting game,” that is definitely looking just like “Pokemonwith guns.” Just look at that art style. Beyond that, it’s been revealed that it will be released into Early Access in January 2024.
Along with this is a new trailer that hammers homehow muchPokemonPalworldis going for. There’s fantasy, adventure, children, and then someone pulls out a minigun. I really can’t say I don’t see the appeal, but it’s hard not to raise an eyebrow at its intentionally derivative nature.
Palworldwill be coming to PC via Early Access sometime in January 2024.
