Prepare for the Legendary Heroes event in Pokémon GO.
The Legendary Heroes event in Pokémon GO will see the debut of Shiny Zacian and introduce a pathing Timed Research themed around Sword and Shield.
The Legendary Heroes event runs from September 26 until October 1. Starting at 10am local time, and ending at 8pm local time wherever you are in the world.
Pokémon GO Legendary Heroes Event Bonuses
The Pokémon GO Legendary Heroes event will have the following bonuses:

Pokémon GO Legendary Heroes Timed Research
During the event, all Trainers will be able to get their hands on free branching Timed Research that will reward items, XP, Stardust as well as Pokémon encounters. The encounters you get will be entirely determined by which path you pick. There is a Sword Path and a Shield Path.
The path you choose will also determine which Collection Challenge you have and which Pokémon will be attracted to Incense for the duration of the event.
The paths will produce the following:
Sword Path Incense Encounters
If the Sword Path is chosen, the following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense throughout the event.

The following Pokémon will appear in raids.
Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Zacian.
