New planets await you on a portable screen
Hello Games has locked in a launch date for the Nintendo Switch version ofNo Man’s Sky. The studio is partnering with Bandai Namco Entertainment to bringNo Man’s Skyto Switch on May 23, 2025.
This version of Hello Games’ space exploration sim will be available both physically and on the Nintendo eShop. Those picking the game up will get all updates that have been added to the game so far (and therehave been a lot), plus all future updates.

While it’s a bitlater than originally intendedfor the Switch version ofNo Man’s Sky, it’s still wild to see this game make its way to the handheld hybrid console at all.
You can’t take the sky from me
Since it first launched,No Man’s Skyhas been a wild game to follow. Itsinitial offeringseemed to fall short of the expectations many had for it.
But as time carried on, Hello Gameshas continued to updateand buildNo Man’s Skyup, to the point that it feels unrecognizable at times from that initial launch in 2016.

Every once in a while now, we get a new update that adds something huge likesmugglingorsettlementsinto the fold. Or, you know, theNormandyfromMass Effect.
