Fighting game enthusiasts and general gamers alike have been awaiting more news to surface. Fortunately, we are just a week away from experiencing the game for the first time.

Play tests are great ways for teams to hear feedback from players, especially when it comes to online experience. With the pandemic continuing to put a limit on offline events, online stability is a focal point for any new fighting game. Play tests are now a common way to test a game’s netcode pre-release.
This trend was set by ArcSystem Works, who conducted several open tests forGuilty Gear -Strive-to perfect its online modes. MultiVersus promises rollback netcode, so developers likely want to make sure it doesn’t disappoint.

The first play test will be held exclusively over Steam, meaning it won’t be available for console players. Furthermore, only those in North and South America are eligible. If you are a PC player in the western hemisphere looking for a chance to play MultiVersus, hurry andbefore its too late!
