Second Dinner has revealed more details about Marvel Snap’s New X-Men season! In May 2025, the New X-Men head to Xavier’s Institute where they must defend the school against an anti-mutant Sentinel. Read on for all of the new Marvel Snap New X-Men cards, their release schedule, and more.
Marvel Snap New X-Men cards revealed: Esme Cuckoo, Xorn, and Surge

Esme Cucko is the newest character to join Marvel Snap. She is one of five Stepford Cuckos, who are clones are Emma Frost. In the New X-Men season, she is also joined by Xorn, Surge, Prodigy, and Elixir.

Marvel Snap May 2025 release schedule
In terms of the release schedule for these new Marvel Snap cards, Surge arrives on May 6 alongside Captain Carter. This is followed by Prodigy on May 13, Elixir on May 20, and Xorn on May 27.
In addition to these characters, Marvel Snap’s New X-Men season also features the Pit of Exile and Genosha as new location cards. Of course, don’t forget about the slew of new avatars, variants, and emotes. Players can unlock them by completing different albums arriving on May 8, May 15, and May 30.
Adding to this are shop takeovers featuring Penny Arcade on May 8, Rian Gonzales on May 15, and Disco variants galore on May 30.
