We have our first look at Ambessa as a playable champion!
Riot Games previously teased that Ambessa Medarda will eventually hit League of Legends. However, recent leaks give us more details and a first look at the upcoming champion way before her release.

LoL Ambessa Medarda leak
WRUzbeks posted the leakon X, captioned as Wild Rift getting Ambessa Medarda as a new champion. It was accompanied by a screenshot of Ambessa Medarda’s in-game model with Noxus in the back.
This leak may denote that Ambessa may arrive as a playable character in Wild Rift before she does in LoL. This is not unprecedented, as Seraphine was launched in the mobile game first, followed by her LoL PC release a couple of days later.

The first thing of note is that Ambessa’s in-game model looks different from what we’re used to. Even with the new Arcane Season 2 trailers where Ambessa got more screen time, she was never adorned in green. This tells us two things: one, that Ambessa will don this outfit at some point during Arcane Season 2, or two, her playable version will look similar, but unique from herprevious appearances.
We can tell that she has a bladed weapon on her hands. Ambessa was confirmed to be a melee bruiser-fighter, so her weapon being the cross of Renekton’s crescent axe and a brass knuckle fits perfectly. We get a more intimate look at her weapons in the Arcane Season 2 trailer, where we can see that the blades have chains attached to them.

Lastly, she’s wearing a similar faceplate from the Arcane Season 2 trailer.
Ambessa Medarda should be a playable champion both on Wild Rift and LoL PC within the year, sometime in November while Arcane Season 2 airs.

Other leaks
The Ambessa leak was accompanied by another character: Heimerdinger. On live servers, Heimerdinger is not a playable champion in Wild Rift, and it seems he will be added alongside Ambessa in what could be an Arcane-themed update for the mobile game.
LoL players still have something to glean from this leak, though. The leaked image of Heimerdinger shows him in his Council uniform. An Arcane Heimerdinger skin may be in the works for LoL PC.
