The winner of the SF6 esports event CPT 2024: Japan Super Premier was decided on Day 2. In the winners semis, Tokido defeated Momochi (Ken vs Ed) and Machabo won over Mago (Akuma vs Juri).

On the losers side, Leshar (Ed) had an intense run. His opponents were Fuudo (Ed), Mago (Juri), and gachikun (Rashid). With three victories over these mighty players, Leshar advanced to the losers final.

With a win over Machabo, Tokido advanced to the grand final and qualified for the Capcom Cup 11. It’s interesting to see how Tokido plays his current main, Ken, against his legacy Street Fighter character, Akuma.

The second player qualifying for the Capcom Cup 11 is Leshar. In the Losers Final, the Korean player defeated Machabo: Ed vs Akuma.

In a great dominant style, Tokido destroyed Leshar in the grand final of CPT 2024: Japan Super Premier. Tokido won two amazing first games. Then, it looked like Leshar managed to adapt to Tokido’s Ken, using mid-range tools of his Ed. But Tokido sealed the deal with a level 3 Super on the burned out opponent.

More than 1,200 players registered for the Street Fighter 6 Japan Super Premier. It’s quite a lot of participants, and onlySF6 at Evo 2024shows bigger numbers. Three rounds of pools and the top 16 brackets are needed to determine the winner.
