Overwatch 2

Guides

Read on for how to enter a game of Overguessr and how to create your own lobby for it.

Overwatch 2 Geoguessr is the community’s own version of the original and browser-based GeoGuessr game. While GeoGuessr involves figuring out locations using Google Street View, Overwatch 2’s version features the top-down perspective.

How to play Overwatch 2 GeoGuessr

To enter a match, select “Play” in Overwatch 2’s main menu, choose the “Custom Games” option, search for “Overguessr” or “H0TKZ” and jump into a game.

Next, select a hero and press “F” to ready up. Overwatch 2 Geoguessr then shows you a location screenshot that’s seen in first person. Your goal is to pinpoint this location or get as close as possible to it.

The catch is that instead of getting the first-person view, you must guess the location using the top-down perspective. Press “R” to toggle between the screenshot and top-down map.

Once you’re sure of your guess, hold the “F” key to select a spot. Much like the original GeoGuessr game, you earn points by getting closer to the exact location.
