PvP beta to run from April 26 to May 17 in more than 5 regions on only Windows PCs
The Overwatch 2 PVP Beta begins on April 26 at 11 a.m PT for all selected players who will begin to receive invites to join the PvP Beta on April 25.
The beta will be available to players in North America, Europe, Latin America, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and South East Asia. Moreover, the PvP beta is currently only in English(US) and partially supported in other languages.
Players can still opt-in for a chance to get an invite to the Overwatch 2 beta or earn it through Twitch drops. Overwatch 2 will feature one confirmed new hero,Sojourn, reworks to existing characters andqualify of life improvements.

How to opt into the Overwatch 2 PvP beta
After signing up, players must wait for an email notification from the Overwatch team. If selected, you will receive a welcome email from the Overwatch team with instructions on how to gain access to the build.
Players who do not already own Overwatch will be able to access the build through a free trial offered during the PvP beta.
All players selected earlier will receive access to Overwatch 2 on the first day of testing. Moreover, Blizzard plans to extend invitations to more players at later periods in the test.

How to get Overwatch 2 Beta through Twitch Drops
Another way to earn Overwatch 2 beta access is through the Twitch Drops campaign. The Twitch Drops campaign celebrates the launch of the beta and fans can tune into severalselected streamersduring the event.
The limited Twitch Drops campaign will begin April 27 at 10 a.m. PT and last until 6 p.m. PT. To earn an Overwatch 2 beta access, fans must tune into any of the selected streamers during the limited time.
Only viewers who watch any of the streams eligible in the Overwatch category for four hours will earn beta access.
After earning the Twitch drop, you must link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts to receive the beta. All Twitch Drop earners must install the game version on the Battle.net Launcher.
After syncing both accounts, log in using the Battle.net account and click the overwatch icon located at the top of the launcher home page. Players can then select the Overwatch 2 Technical beta from the game version drop-down menu.
Just like the opt-in option, players without Overwatch will still be able to access the drop using a free trial. However, downloading Overwatch may reduce download and install times for the beta build. All persons in the beta access stream Overwatch 2 as far as they comply with the Terms of Service. The Overwatch team will also host a Beta Bash live stream from April 27 at 11 a.m. PT.
Furthermore, Blizzard will release more information later on how to gain access to future betas for players who miss Twitch Drops.
Additionally, the beta will not include some features from the current live game such as competitive mode, profiles and endorsements and none of the in-game progress made in the beta will reflect in the live game.

The Overwatch 2 PvP beta will only be available to Windows-based PCs with no Mac-specific beta available. Moreover, Blizzard plans to include console players in future testings for Overwatch 2. The recommended PC specifications are as follows:
