Want your Villagers to take over the busy work in LEGO Fortnite? Here’s how to get them to gather resources for you!
In LEGO Fortnite, a bulk of the game is gathering items and resources so you’re able to expand your Village and continue your adventure. That said, you don’t have to do all that gathering on your own - Your Villagers can lend a hand. Here’s how to get your Villagers to gather resources for you in LEGO Fortnite.
How to get Villagers to gather materials in LEGO Fortnite
Villagers who’ve been recruited to your Village can gather resources for you if you ask them to. Just talk to the Villager, and select “Let’s talk Jobs!”
Then select “Resource Jobs” and confirm with the Villager. The Villager will then gather materials. They’ll need access to their own Crafting Bench (They can use yours, but it’s best to give them their own). Speak to them later, and ask them “How’s your Job?” and they’ll give you an update on their progress. If they’ve successfully gathered materials, they’ll give them to you.

Villagers not collecting resources?
If you find your Villagers aren’t gathering materials, or keep saying they’re just preparing, they may not have access to everything they need. verify they have access to a Crafting Bench, preferably inside a building so it won’t get rained on (rain stops Crafting Benches and other workstations from being usable).
Make sure each Villager you want to gather resources has their own Crafting Bench for best results!

At higher Village levels, you can even get Villagers to do other tasks, such as cooking food, farming, processing wood and stone into advanced materials, and more! Keep levelling up your Village to make things even easier!
How to recruit Villagers to your Village in LEGO Fortnite
In case you’re struggling to recruit Villagers you first need to make sure your Village is of a high enough level. Then talk to the Villager and ask them to join your Village. If it meets the requirements, they’ll join. If not, they’ll tell you what’s wrong and you can level up your Village to fill their needs before inviting them again!
