Ginny & Georgiaseason 3 features an excellent playlist of songs to carry the characters through their stories. This third installment in the Netflix series comprises 10 episodes, each approximately an hour long. Through each of these, nearly every emotion experienced by characters like Georgia and Ginny is reflected in the music. From the initial fallout from Georgia’s arrest to thefinal twist ofGinny & Georgiaseason 3, the playlist doesn’t disappoint.
The first episode ofGinny & Georgia’sseason 3picks up right where season 2 left off. Emotions run high for Georgia and her family, but no one is more tense than Ginny. She knows far more about her mother’s crimes than she should, and this is a great deal of pressure. Of course,Ginny & Georgiais also a comedy, so this tension must be balanced out with a healthy dose of fun.The scores from composers Lili Haydn and Ben Bromfield also contributeto this effort, but the numerous pop, R&B, hip-hop, and rock songs played a significant role.

Episode Title: This Wouldn’t Even Be A Podcast
“Find You Out” by Marauder- The first song we hear inGinny & Georgiaseason 3 plays as episode 1 opens, and Georgia is seen being brought from her jail cell to a private room to speak to her lawyer. We also see Ginny walking through school with all eyes on her.
“I Don’t Care” by Lall- This song plays as Ginny approaches her friends in school, only to realize that they are all talking about whether Georgia could really be guilty of murder.

“Small Doses” by Camille- Ginny and Marcus talk to one another about how they are doing since the breakup. This song also plays as the pair discuss Georgia’s arrest and Ginny’s anxiety over the responsibility she carries regarding her mother’s crimes.
“Dancing in the Dark” by LØLØ- “Dancing in the Dark” plays as Ginny heads to English class, and continues as she and Abby decide to skip school in favor of smoking weed in Abby’s bedroom (while enjoying some hidden snacks).

“So Dramatic!” by Fake Dad- Max becomes upset when she realizes that Ginny and Abby skipped school without her. Often accused of being overly dramatic, this Fake Dad song is fitting for Max’s first moment of self-consciousness inGinny & Georgiaseason 3.
“I Can’t Fly” by Anna Sofia- The song “I Can’t Fly” plays as Max desperately attempts to clear up her room before her new girlfriend, Silver, reaches the top of the stairs.

“Mheer Sag” by Bee Bee Sea- Ginny agrees to head to her new poetry class only because her dad, Zion, offered her the use of his motorcycle. As she speeds down the street, the song “Mheer Sag” plays.
“Ohio” by Specific Coast- As Georgia works on the list of people she wants to sit in the stands behind her in court inGinny & Georgiaseason 3, “Ohio” plays in the background.

“Anti-Hero” by Tessa Rose Jackson- Marcus invites Ginny to meet him at the local playground when he is feeling down. As they lay together on the playscape, “Anti-Hero” by Tess Rose Jackson plays.
“Mama Was a Bad Seed” by Rozetta Johnson- During a flashback scene of Georgia stealing food and money from a diner, the song “Mama Was a Bad Seed” fittingly plays in the background.

“The Devil” by BANKS- Georgia must get creative with what the jail has to offer to get herself dolled up for court. As she swipes things from the officer’s desk, this BANKS song can be heard.
“It’s Called: Freefall” by Rainbow Kitten Surprise- Another flashback scene sees Georgia give little Austin his Harry Potter glasses, accompanied by this Rainbow Kitten Surprise song.

Episode Title: Beep Beep Freaking Beep
“Trip Around The Sun” by MisterWives-Ginny & Georgiaseason 3, episode 2, opens up with Georgia finally at home. However, as she gets out of bed, she is reminded of her pesky ankle monitor as the song “Trip Around The Sun” plays.
“Window” by Moglii- As Zion and his girlfriend Simone chat about Georgia at Zion’s apartment, the song “Window” by Moglii plays in the background.

“Cigarette” by Shaya Zamora- As Austin awkwardly returns to school, the song “Cigarette” by Shaya Zamora plays.
“Trainwreckin'” by Ruthie Collins- Georgia attempts to find things to do during her house arrest inGinny & Georgiaseason 3, episode 2, but she ultimately struggles to be too productive. As she bounces from activity to activity, the song “Trainwreckin'” by Ruthie Collins plays.

“Coconut” by Chair Model- The song “Coconut” by Chair Model plays inGinny & Georgiaas Marcus and his friends, including Max and Abby, hang out at the skate park.
“Benny!” by Rae Khalil- Ginny and Bracia have a heart-to-heart in Georgia’s car outside the school as the song “Benny!” by Rae Khalil plays over the radio. Bracia noted that her brother always shows her the best music.
“Miss You” by Arthur Wimble- Ginny and Marcus come very close to kissing in the driveway inGinny & Georgiaseason 3, episode 2, and this is very fittingly accompanied by “Miss You” by Arthur Wimble.
“Rewind” by Aby Coulibaly- Ginny storms out of the house with Georgia hot on her tail at the end of this episode. Once Ginny reaches the edge of Georgia’s perimeter, it seems for a moment like she might stop. However, she instead chooses to keep walking, leaving her mother trapped behind her while “Rewind” plays out.

“Dancing In Real Time” by GGOOLLDD- This GGOOLLDD song plays as Ginny once again heads back to school inGinny & Georgiaseason 2.
“Summer Song” by Remy Bond- Georgia has discovered that watching her neighbors is the best way to make time pass while on house arrest. As she uses the binoculars that Ellen gave her to spy on the street, “Summer Song” plays.
“Hurt” by Arlo Parks- Abby has begun an emotionless relationship with Matt Press inGinny & Georgiaseason 3. As they make out in episode 3, the song “Hurt” by Arlo Parks plays.
“Baby” by Donna Blue- In English class, Jordan stands on his chair to ask Norah to the sophomore dance, accompanied by the song “Baby” by Donna Blue.
“Pretty Boy” by Cannons- After a casual game night with the Bakers, Ginny heads up to Marcus' room and the pair sit discussing the differences between their families, all while the song “Pretty Boy” by Cannons plays.
