The animated series is aimed at vernal Trek fans — that ’s why it streams on both Paramount+ and Nickelodeon — but that does n’t mean grown - ups ( especiallyJanewayfans!)can’t also revel it .
Here ’s the prescribed synopsis of the series : “ Star Trek : Prodigy follows a multi-coloured bunch of young alien who must figure out how to work together while voyage a greater galaxy , in hunt of a better future . These six vernal Ishmael know nothing about the ship they have commandeered a first in the story of the Star Trek enfranchisement but over the grade of their adventure together , they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents . ”
