Compete in the Rise of Midas Cup for to unlock the Ascendant Midas skin early!
Midas has returned to Fortnite Battle Royale thanks to thev29.01 update. Although it’s only for a limited run, Epic Games is making the most of this revival. On top of the popular character making a resurgence from a story perspective, the game has added the Ascendant Midas skin. The entire bundle will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop on March 26 at 8 p.m. ET. However, eager players can unlock the Outfit early via the Rise of Midas Cup.
Rise of Midas Cup in Fortnite: Format, schedule, and scoring system
The Rise of Midas Cup is a Solo Battle Royale tournament open to players across all regions. Like most Fortnite competitions, players can compete during a specific timeframe to earn points. The goal for competitors is to earn points based on placement and eliminations. Set your schedule for March 24 and check the in-game “Compete” tab to prepare for the competition.

Although this is not a cash-prized tournament, participants in the Midas competition will receive free in-game rewards depending on their placement. Those who finish atop their respective region will earn the complete Ascendant Midas Bundle before anyone else. Additionally, competitors who earn at least eight points will unlock The Rise of Midas Loading Screen.
