GUNNAR Optiks teams up with 2K Games to release Borderlands 4-inspired Ripper glasses. Available Aug. 6, built for gaming, chaos, and eye protection.
Forget the pain of Kevin Hart in the Borderlands movie with gaming sunglasses inspired by Ripper from Borderlands 4, courtesy of GUNNAR Optiks' latest collab.
The collab launches on Aug. 6, with the release of two sets of Borderlands 4-themed glasses. The design and color palette takes inspiration from the Rippers, the bandit horde faction on planet Kairos.
Borderlands 4 Gaming Glasses by GUNNAR Optiks
The two new gaming glasses products - Amber and Sun - are part of an official collaboration between GUNNAR Optiks and 2K Games, the publisher of Borderlands 4. The Ripper glasses are an officially licensed Borderlands product and will be available in Q3 of 2025.
“The Borderlands franchise has always stood out with its wild aesthetic, over-the-top characters, and a visual style that’s impossible to miss," said GUNNAR Optiks in the official release.
“With the new Borderlands collection, we set out to capture that same chaotic energy and give fans something wearable that feels straight out of the universe they love.”

They will both retail for $74 USD, which is mid-range in terms of pricing compared to other GUNNAR Optiksgaming-themed glasses.
The Amber and Sun Ripper glasses also come with a Borderlands 4-themed pouch and microfibre cloth. Plus if you embrace the Ripper lifestyle a little too much, the glasses come with a 12-month warranty.
