We still get it on almost nothing about the first live - action Star Wars movie in a decennium , but now we may have bugger off a coup d’oeil at one of the movie ’s big special - effect sequences . A redesign Lucasfilm website includes a photo of a production meeting , where you may glimpse some conception art .
Here ’s the picturethat appeared on the Lucasfilm site , of a product meeting featuring J.J. Abrams , Kathleen Kennedy , yield architect Rick Carter , SVP of applied science Kim Libreri , SVP of Physical Production Jason McGatlin and Senior Visual Effects Supervisor John Knoll :
And behind them , you’re able to glimpse a rampart of concept artistic production :

AsSlashfilmsays , the ikon at bottom left hand seems to be the Millennium Falcon flying to a planet . The image at bottom right look like a bleak planet , peradventure Geonosis or a deserted part of Tatooine . The upper range appear to have Alec Guinness ’ Obi - Wan Kenobi ( at far right ) , but the rest is too blurry to make out .
Of course , this could just be images from old motion picture or reference book art , but this does appear to be a production coming together for Episode VII . [ Jedi NewsviaSlashfilm ]
