Taking beloved videogame franchises from the late 90’s and early 2000’s and putting new titles on mobile platforms seems to be all the rage right now. Activision’s doing it withTony Hawk, and now Sega’s taking its shot withCrazy Taxi.

Yes,Crazy Taxi: City Rushis in development by Kenji Kanno, creator of the original, and will be free to download on iOS and Android devices. According to Sega, it’s already had a soft launch in some regions, and will be available everywhere by the end of the year.
