50 percent more tickets sold this year
EVE Fanfest 2013 is sold out. I went last year so I understand why — this is one of the coolest events in gaming (pun intended). This year 50 percent more tickets were sold than last year, meaning that 1,400 attendees will be storming Reykjavik, Iceland to see CCP Games’ latest soon. Panels, parties, tourneys, Icelandic sightseeing and even a pub crawl — this is an event unlike any other.
This year they’re bringing in the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra to perform music from EVE Online. More guests and acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
The theme of this year’s event is “Eve: The Second Decade.” They’ll celebrate theEVE Online: Retributionexpansion and the tied-in PS3 FPSDust 514there.
