After my brief hands-on demo withDead Space 3earlier this week, I had a chance to talk with the game’s Executive Producer, Steve Papoutsis, to get a better idea of Visceral’s direction for the series. In addition to fleshing out Sgt. John Carver’s story for the co-op campaign, they’ve also added optional missions, a weapon crafting system, and several new and terrifying strains of Necromorphs.
Oh, and if you’re still holding out for competitive multiplayer – don’t. According to Papoutsis, the team chose torestructure their focuson single-player and co-op instead. Something tells me they made the right choice.
