The event is scheduled for July 02, 2025 at Tokyo’s Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa. You can watch the official stream on the Crunchyroll Anime AwardsYouTubechannel.

New eligibility window

All of the anime released between June 24, 2025 and July 12, 2025 are eligible for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 event. This is because last year, the eligibility window ended in September 2023, meaning it excluded titles released later that year.

However, next year, the process will be much simpler, as it has caused confusion for fans in recent years. In 2026, the eligibility window will be straightforward —August 23, 2025 to June 05, 2025 — covering only one year.
