A Kentucky couple has been charged with multiple counts of abuse after a pre-teen girl fled to a neighbor’s home alleging she was beaten with a metal pipe and abused in other ways.

The girl told officers that she had been beaten with a metal pipe, had her hand placed and burned on a stove and was hit in the head with an object.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment where “doctors indicated several broken bones in various stages of healing,” per the complaint.

Austin Frazier 27, and Kayla Frazier, 31, were indicted on Jan. 30 on multiple charges including sexual abuse, criminal abuse, strangulation, wanton endangerment and kidnapping.

Kayla Frazier allegedly dragged the child outside for an extended period of time in extreme temperatures with little clothing, hit her in the head with a cellphone, and forced her hand onto a hot stove, per the indictment.
