What (graphics card) are ya buyin’?

It looks like Capcom has posted the specifications forResident Evil 7: Biohazardon the Steam store page. From a quick glance, the game doesn’t seem too demanding. My three-year-old CPU is listed under recommended along with half of my RAM amount.

MINIMUM:OS: WINDOWS 7,8,8.1,10 64-BITProcessor: Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300 or betterMemory: 8 GB RAMGraphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260xDirectX: Version 11Additional Notes: 1080P CPU/GPU at 30FPS Players will have to either lower texture or set streaming textures to OFF to optimize performance. *Internet connection required for game activation. The game is still undergoing development, so all PC requirements are subject to change.

I do like the extra clarification on what minimum means, but if minimum can produce a 1080p image, then does that mean there isn’t support for lower resolutions? I’m pretty sure this is simply an oversight, but you never know.

A battle scene in Battlefield 6 Open Beta

Capcom has been doing really well with its PC ports as of late. For as horrible asResident Evil 6is, the game playslike a dreamon PC. It even has split-screen support and the ability to use keyboard and mouse alongside a gamepad. I was the lucky one who got to play on a 360 controller (damn you,Jim. Also, happy birthday!!!).
