Not too long ago, it was revealed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games that the forthcoming World War II-inspired shooter,Call of Duty: WW2, is set to receive10 different multiplayer maps at launchnext month. Now the publisher and developer have officially revealed that Season Pass holders will get one more map at release, with the companies confirming a classic Bonus Map coming in the form of Carentan.
For those unaware,Call of Duty: WW2’s Carentan is set to be the forthcoming first-person shooter sequel’s take on one of the originalCall of Duty 1and2’s most iconic maps, with the majority of fans likely remembering experiencing the area in 2004’s United Offensive expansion. Those who want to get an idea about what the French rural town will look like inCall of Duty: WW2can get a gander of a teaser image directly below.

According to a blog post from Activision, Carentan will see players battling “through the destroyed buildings and fortified streets of this war-torn French town in an all-out battle for a strategic German stronghold.” The publisher has yet to declare whether or not the map will be available to every player at some point down the line, but if history is any indication, it will likely become playable to all in the future.
Those who wish to gain access to Carentan at launch can buy in toCall of Duty: WW2’s Season Pass by itself, or they can do so by purchasing the title’sValor Collectionand receive several extra pieces of collectibles as well. Of course, no matter which way players decide to access the content, there’s no doubt that Activision and Sledgehammer Games will see plenty of fans go all-in on the game’s post-launch assets.
Call of Duty: WW2is slated to release on June 19, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
