Blizzard has brought back the legendary AH mount, the Gilded Brutosaur with a new reskin for purchase on the Battle.net shop.

Blizzard has just announced the Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur mount in the in-game shop. Based on the model of theMighty Caravan Brutosaur, this one has a catch though, unlike the previous brutosaur, this one will set you back $90USD instead of in-game gold.

Yes, this mount costs the same as the highest tier of The War Within.

What makes this mount so special? Well, it’s the first mount to ever have a portable mailbox attached to it. This doesn’t seem like much, but remember the only toys that allow you to check your mail also have a 3-hour cooldown attached to them.

Another feature is that, like the aforementionedMighty Caravan Brutosaur, this one also features an auction house vendor. Making this the only readily obtainable “AH mount” in the game. The previous brutosaur was removed at the end of Battle for Azeroth, but costs 5 million in-game gold when available.

Is it worth it? That’s up the player. It seems social media is having this same debate right now, with people split down the middle.

When you think of this in WoW Tokens, this makes the new mount substantially cheaper than the original brutosaur mount. The average price of a WoW Token now is around 200-225k gold, which means to get the Battle.net balance to cover the $90, you would have to spend around 1.2 million gold.

Player reactions

Some players are excited about the new store mount for various reasons

And then you have the other side of the discussion.

In addition to the new brutosaur mount, Blizzard also released a new anniversary bundle for only $30 USD that includes mounts for both retail and classic WoW.
