Based on a job listing, Blizzard plans to revisit some its past games. The company is searching for a senior software engineer to help bringStarCraft,Diablo II, andWarcraft IIIup to date.

“Evolving operating systems, hardware, and online services have made them more difficult to be experienced by their loyal followers or reaching a new generation,”reads the post. “We’re restoring them to glory.”

The responsibilities for the job help clarify what Blizzard has in mind:

I’d expect to see those three titles accessible via the Battle.net launcher once everything’s said and done. If we get anything more substantial — honest-to-god visual improvements, perhaps — that would be a lovely bonus.
