Both HEROIC and Complexity Gaming had their unlucky matches at the CS2 BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 event. They fell to the lower brackets and are on the verge of elimination. Still, HEROIC are in a substantially better position as they have previously defeated Complexity.

Game 1
Complexity started on CT, and this side worked well for them, with the pistols and a few following rounds won. When HEROIC got out of the economy pit they fell into, the team won one round, and then returned to limited buys again — they did not look good on T at all. The teams went for the break with 9:3 in favor of Complexity.
The CT side worked slightly better for HEROIC, at least in the beginning. They won the pistols and the next round. Then, Complexity got the proper guns and continued adding numbers to their side of the score. They won game 1 with 13:5 and cemented the idea of revenge.

Game 2
Switching to their map worked somewhat better for HEROIC. They lost a few initial rounds but then recovered and even the score in the first half.
After switching to the T side, Complexity lost the pistols, and HEROIC went ahead in the score for the first time in the series.
HEROIC looked like a better team now, and they were very close to the match point, but Complexity weren’t easy victims. They fought back, made the score even again, and got their match point first.
In their last round, HEROIC couldn’t buy proper weaponry and had no chance in this match — despite the very good fight in game 2. HEROIC is out of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024.

Take a look at the active roster of these two teams. There is a change in HEROIC due to Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov being absent at CS2 BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024. The coach Eetu “sAw” Saha took his place as an AWPer.
HEROIC vs Complexity in Group A of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024
The teams played in the first round of this BLAST CS2 event. It took HEROIC two games to defeat Complexity Gaming. Their advantage on the first map, Ancient, was more apparent (13:8). But on the second map, Vertigo, COL were pretty close to taking the match to Game 3. HEROIC won only in overtime with 16:14.

The next match for HEROIC was the upper-bracket final against Team Spirit. The opponents won a close first game (13:11 on Vertigo), and they were more advantageous in the second game (13:6 on Anubis). This loss threw HEROIC to the lower brackets. Their other chance of reaching the grand final of Group A is the match against COL.

HEROIC will have to win against the winner of OG versus Complexity to make the group finals.
Complexity Gaming had to face OG to be in the lower-bracket final. That match was too close for COL to feel comfortable. They won Game 1 on Ancient (13:11), but lost Game 2 on Vertigo (9:13). Game 3 was decisive, and Complexity won it with 13:7 on Anubis.
To proceed in CS2 BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2024, both teams need two victories: in this lower-bracket final and then in the grand final against Team Spirit. Still, whoever wins the match will guarantee themselves a second chance in the play-in against the second team from another group.
