Battlefield 6 Closed and Open Beta dates

EA hasn’t officially confirmed when the beta will take place, but areport from Tom Hendersonat Insider Gaming has given us a strong indication of when it will happen. Henderson’s source is said to have knowledge of the beta plans, but they wanted to remain anonymous as EA doesn’t want the beta plans to be public yet.

The report says that the Closed Beta for Battlefield 6 isslated to start on Thursday, August 7. The Closed Beta will only be open for fans who pre-order an edition of Battlefield 6 or those who receive a beta code through a Twitch Drop. You can receive this drop by watching one of the many content creators who will be streaming gameplay of Battlefield 6 at the Worldwide Reveal event. The Closed and Open Betas are slated to only include multiplayer gameplay. Therumored Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 6might be announced at the Worldwide Reveal, but it won’t be playable during the beta weekends.

How to play the Battlefield 6 beta

As we mentioned before, the best way to play the entire Battlefield 6 beta is through pre-ordering. This ensures you get access to the Closed Beta that supposedly begins on August 7. However, you could also test your luck and see if you can score a Twitch Drop that grants you access.

Of course, if you don’t want to pre-order or if you don’t get lucky, all you have to do is wait a few days until August 9. This is when the Open Beta begins, which is playable for all players.
