After three regional qualifiers, these 16 teams made it to the second Rocket League Major of season 2025. Who are the favorites?
Somehow, Rocket League esports reached the point of clear dominance by specific teams in their regions. On the one hand, this makes open qualifiers somewhat repetitive: an upset is a rare occasion, and top teams guaranteed a qualification spot for themselves almost automatically.
On the other hand, the international tournaments become surprisingly more interesting! It’s like all regions send their best representatives, true powerhouses, to battle at the LAN events of Rocket League Championship Series 2025 (RLCS 2025). How have they changed over the recent months?
The Birmingham Major was a great esports show! Yes, Karmine Corp destroyed their opponents on the way to victory, but we still could witness a lot of great matches with totally uncertain results.
Can the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major reach this level of excitement and boost it even further? Let’s take a look at the list of all qualified teams, their pre-Major journey, and their general chances of victory.
Falcons win their first Rocket League Major! Championship Sunday in Raleigh
With the level of play Falcons demonstrated at this Rocket League esports event, it felt logical to see them in the grand final. Dignitas denied Vitality on the way to the top, but they couldn’t stop Falcons.

All Rocket League teams at the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major
Seven regions participated in theRLCS 2025 Split 2. The season had two goals: qualify for the Raleigh Major and make it to the Rocket League 2025 World Championship.
While the biggest event of the year is still far away, the list of all Major 2 participants is already known. The following 16 teams clash at the arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, from June 26 to June 29.
In general, we can see mainly thesame teams as at the Birmingham Major. The changes are scarce:
Road to the Rocket League esports Raleigh Major
Open qualifiers for RLCS 2025 are massive and theoretically give chances to all regional teams. Practically, we see the same set of top competitors making it to the final brackets and even winning events.
In general, it was a script for all the regions in Split 2. However, some interesting twists still happened.
North America
NRGhad a somewhat shaky performance in theRLCS 2025 NA Open 4, but they won that and the next qualifier. That was enough to guarantee their Raleigh Major spot.
It’s probably the lack of motivation from NRG, as the team was eliminated byThe Ultimates, and thenSpacestation Gamingwon the final open qualifier of this season.
Gen.G Mobil1 Racingdid not have such breakthrough results, but being in the top 2 and 3 in two events turned out to be enough for the team.

Europe
A team that surprised everyone in this region wasDignitas. In Open 5, they defeated Karmine Corp, theBirmingham Major Championsand the best 2025 Rocket League esports team in Europe.
Karmine Corpweren’t too sad about that grand final loss. Confident victories in two other open qualifiers helped them keep their high spirit.
The battle betweenGentle Mates Alpineand Geekay Esports was really close, with ups and downs for both teams. The M8 players looked like they finally adapted to their new organization. Geekay Esports fell to the top 6 at the RLCS 2025 EU Open 4, and that result was repeated in Open 6. The opponents on this road to Raleigh Major were stronger this time.
Team Vitalityare still struggling to reach the top spot, but they had no problems landing in the top 2 and 3 throughout the season.
Oceania
Some pretty interesting shifts happened in this region.Wildcardwon two tournaments and qualified for the Raleigh Major early. The battle for the second spot was epic.
We could see PWR popping up with great results. The Rocket League community knows of this organization after theRLCS 2024 World Championship, but that roster was dismissed. It feels like the team still needs time to settle within higher regional placements.
TSM and Helfie Chiefs competed for 2nd place in Oceania. The Open 6 grand final was a culmination of that battle.TSMwon it, so they represent the region in the RLCS Major 2.
South America, Middle East & North Africa, Asia Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa
Putting all these regions in one section certainly doesn’t reflect the true competitive power of the teams — at least some of them. However, the RLCS 2025 Split’s open qualifiers brought little surprises.
FURIAandTeam Secretbattled each other rather than the rest of the South American teams. Both qualified for a Major again, and the only big story from Split 2 was that Team Secret won Open 4.
Team FalconsandTwisted Mindsfollowed a similar script in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). Falcons won all the qualifiers, while Twisted Minds fell to the top 3 in Open 5.
FUT Esportsconfidently dominates Sub-Saharan Africa. The Luminosity Gaming roster becameVirtus.proat Open 5, but that doesn’t change their regular top 1 placements in Asia Pacific.
Team to look out for at the Raleigh Major
We can expect the main battle of this Rocket League esports event to be between the top teams from Europe, North America, MENA, and South America.
Rocket League World Championship 2025 is coming to France

The RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major also features the 1v1 match between MENA and NA champions. The winner advances to the World Finals to face Mawkzy, who qualified from the1v1 Birmingham Major.
