Guides
Here’s a deep dive into the Artifact Mods and their effects, coming with Destiny 2’s Episode: Heresy and kicking off Feb. 4!
Episode: Heresy is right around the corner, and Destiny 2 players are eager to rip in and get accustomed to the seasonal artifact mods up for grabs. Artifact mods are important as they dictate many meta builds for the season.

There’s plenty of variety in this artifact mod selection this season. Here’s a look at every artifact mod arriving in Destiny 2 Episode: Heresy.
Update, April 1: Act 3 artifact mods have been revealed and added to the list!

Every Artifact Mod coming with Episode: Heresy
Episode: Heresy’s artifact is theTablet of Ruinwhich players will earn early in Act 1’s prologue. It certainly matches the season’s theme as guardians return to the Hive Dreadnaught outside Saturn.
The elements most benefitted by the artifact this episode are Arc, Void, and Strand. Arc mods work in hand with the new Volt Charge mechanic, while a popular mod from the past returns in Volatile Marksman for Void Weaken builds.

Anti-Champion Artifact Mods
Column one in the Artifact is dedicated to anti-champion mods for the season. While some Exotics intrinsically come with anti-champion synergy, you’ll need to pick a mod and match a weapon type to stun champions during the episode.
Two more anti-champion mods will be revealed as players unlock each act.

Glaives in particular are receiving quite the rework in Episode: Heresy, and given there’s a few artifact mods below that work great with glaives, it might be time to dust them off in your armory!
